FORMULA 1 racing is coming to Lusail International Circuit in Qatar from the 6th to the 8th of October 2023, offering an exciting weekend for fans to witness the world's most elite drivers go head-to-head. Lusail International Circuit, located approximately 30 km from central Doha, is one of the largest venues in Qatar and one of the best racetracks in the Middle East. A must-visit for all race enthusiasts.

Lusail International Circuit is 23km away from the hotel and will take you about 25 minutes by car, taxi or Uber ride.

The hotel is also connected to the Metro line as Lusail (Red Line) via a free service Metrolink bus to DECC Metro station.

 

2024 AFC Asian Cup

The 2023 AFC Asian Cup Qatar is scheduled to be held from January 12 to February 10, 2024, Qatar Football Association (QFA) across the city.

The highly anticipated competition will be staged across six of the eight stadiums that were venues for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 – namely Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium, Al Janoub Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Education City Stadium and Khalifa International Stadium – as well as Jassim bin Hamad Stadium and Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.

Every stadium is seamlessly linked to the Metro Station through a free Metrolink bus service. The closest Metro station, DECC Metro, is just a short 1 km walk away from the hotel, taking only 5 minutes to reach.

Expo 2023 Doha is scheduled to commence on October 2, 2023, and will run for an impressive 179 days of celebrations, concluding on March 28, 2024. The event aims to attract over 3 million visitors, offering attendees the opportunity to explore exquisitely landscaped gardens and experience cultures from around the world.

Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar will be located in Al Bidda Park, in the heart of Doha a few steps away from Corniche Street situated between West Bay and Doha Port. The hotel is a mere 5.5 km away from Expo 2023 Doha, reachable in approximately 12 minutes by car. The hotel is also connected on the same Metro line as Al Bidda (Red Line) via a free service Metrolink bus to DECC Metro station.

Expo 2023 Doha is held under the theme "Green Desert, Better Environment" and aims to promote sustainable innovations and combat desertification. It will inspire visitors to participate in the transformation within four main topics:
