Sehr schöne Hotel - Anlage, leider sehr abgelegen.
Read moreDate of stay : August 2019 -

Read moreDate of stay : September 2018 -

Perfect stay
Very friendly and polite staff, we felt like belonging to a family. The Cookery was very delicious. Everything was cleaned perfectly, European hotels could learn cleanliness there. Especially for couples the resort is perfect.Read moreDate of stay : March 2020 -

A very nice hotel but very remote. It’s not the easiest place to walk. The hotel will lease you a bike to get around or order a mini bus or taxi so you can get to the next resort. Staff are very helpful.Read moreDate of stay : October 2019 -

Nice hotel
The location of the hotel is very poor. You are forced to take taxi to go to buy something. The attendants are very polite. The price of the food is very expressive. For example a coke can 45 bath and in the 7eleven you can pay just 15 bath!Read moreDate of stay : September 2019 -

Great stay for a few days.
Nice hotel, a little bit far away from nightlife. Hotel has 2 swimming pools, nice restaurant and massage service and fitness room. I stayed 3 nights and had an upgrade to the villa. One thing I didn't like was the bed the mattress was good but the wooden frame around it was not a good idea. It is to big and I hurt my leg twice. The rest of my experience was great.Read moreDate of stay : August 2019 -

Our experience
Had a lovely stay. This was our 2nd stay here, suitable for all. Unfortunately we have seen a slight decline, ie, pool needs re-tiling, but mostly small things, but stayed in worse. Staff were mostly friendly. I would like to have seen the bed sheets changed more often as bed was just made during our stay, I’d think they changed the sheets once and we stayed for 2 weeks. Clean towels though. Air con was a bit rubbish, but saw they were in the process of re-gassing. Bikes were brand new last year, but unfortunately they have not been taken care off (our 1st has a puncture, our 2nd had been dropped). As an animal lover I didn’t like the way the dogs were sometimes chased from the property (particularly by the restaurant manager (i think he was, if not he acted like it 😂) he was rude to us for calling the dog to check him over, and the gardener who aggressively chased the dog with a stick (we had to shout him from the balcony)... this all slightly tarnished our stay, but overall the hotel is good for the money. If u however are not planning to hire a car or bike, it is a little out the way (that’s what we wanted though)... there’s little to do in the walkable area, but it’s a good base if u do hire a vehicle. We never used the spa as it was expensive compared to the ones in town. We had breakfast included, but never used the restaurant of a lunch/evening as we always ate out. Sea here is shallow, so not great for swimmers but excellent for paddlers, for swimmers there’s 2 pools at the hotel, one really long thin pool that runs between the rooms and a pool right in the beach (which we mostly used). Im not sure I would recommend the bungalow rooms here though as they are very close to the resultant and bar and quite overlooked.Read moreDate of stay : May 2019 -

Peace and relaxation
We chose this resort after much research into exactly what we wanted. Being confiden riding a motorcycle we were able to enjoy the tranquility of the resort but get out and about most days to explore the many beaches and restaurants that sit quietly on the west coast of the island. We used the spa on a number of occasions, and although more expensive than outside, we found the 90 minute aromatherapy massage to be top quality and well worth the money. The weakest area in our view is the Thai food menu. If this was improved I think we would have eaten in the restaurant more instead of venturing out in search of more authentic food. I would say that we were in the minority as most guests we spoke to were more than happy. There is one beach restaurant within walking distance if you fancy a change but thats it. If like us you like to try different options then your own transport is essential as taxi's and even the shuttle bus are relatively expensive when compared to motorbike hire. We hired from the resort which at 360 baht per day is a bit expensive, although the bikes were virtually brand new and you are covered for breakdown and flat tyres etc. The room was very comfortable with a superb bed (slept like a log every night!). One niggle is the lack of hanging space for clothes and nowhere to stow large suitcases. Pool near the bar was excellent although a bit too warm at times. Pool between the room blocks far better for swimming, and shaded except around midday. Drinks are a bit expensive, but if you use the happy hours properly the overall cost can be reduced. The best attribute of all is the wonderful team of employees that without exception work so hard to make your holiday special. I can honestly say they are the best we have encountered on our travels. We look forward to returning as soon as we can. Thank you Coconut Beach Resort for a great holiday.Read moreDate of stay : March 2019 -

Lovely setting, far from crowds
The beach is beautiful. The resort is small, personal and friendly. The staff were great, really helpful and cheerful. The food was lovely. It is a long way from most tourist attractions and taxis are expensive on Koh Samui (e.g. 800 baht from one end of the island to the other) so something to consider perhaps. The sea is shallow at low tide. Fine for a little paddling, swimming and simple snorkeling (if you have equipment). The hotel has a free kayak (adult sized life jackets). Kids are welcome and although there are not lots of facilities aimed at them (no kids' club, pool slide etc) my two enjoyed it for a week. The hotel does have a kids' menu. There is a small shop and simple Thai cafe (The Green Kitchen) and nice French / Thai restaurant (French Kiss) within 10 minutes walk if you want to eat outside the hotel restaurant. You might need a taxi or car hire to eat anywhere else (Hemingway's is very good but too far to walk). Overall a lovely stay but possibly best to hire a car if you want to get out and about.Read moreDate of stay : April 2019 -

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, great place!
This resort is designed very well, with a long pool running between the two main buildings, and accessible to lower floor room decks directly. Breakfast was very good, and sitting overlooking the beach was wonderful. Staff always were helpful and offered a smile.Read moreDate of stay : April 2019
