Wonderful hotel with all facilities you need. Nice big rooms, but the beds a litle bit to hard. Choose premium room if you can. The beds are softer. Book also room with pool view or sea view. The rooms to the backside of the hotel is not that nice. The pool area close to the beach are wonderful. The hotell is only 5 minutes from the city center and there are beach restaurantes near by the hotel which are wonderful. Like Fishermans bar. Our favorite place. Good hotel in a great location
The hotel's location right on the beach is excellent. The hotel has beautiful swimming pools and the breakfast is of the standard you would expect from a hotel of this price range. The receptionist at the hotel was a bit gloomy and the reception did not answer our call when we called from our room. I expect a better reception from a hotel of this level. Great experience, thanks for the room upgrade!
Overall we were very happy with our stay at the hotel, the only hotel at Ao Nang beach with a beachfront directly opposite, as the others have a road in front of them. There was a mild sewerage smell at times at the front of the hotel by the front pool or in front of our pool suite, we couldn't work out where it came from, but is wasn't there all the time. The hotel kindly upgraded our room, thank you! We found the cocktails to be really good and at happy hour they were a steal, 2 for 1! We ate a couple of times at the beach restaurant and found the food to be delicious and well priced, easily comparable to other restaurants in the area, even the Fisherman's pub. I use the gym stationary bicycle and it was in good condition, unlike other 4-5 star hotels who often have faulty/noisy gym bikes. The aircon wasn't noisy and we found the staff to be friendly and offered good service. I did find the price a bit steep for paying through Expedia almost a year in advance, where the cost of a double ocean-facing room was almost 10% more than the pool suite in building 7 that was the highest cost at the time we stayed there.
