  Very nice hotel, clean room, good beds, outstanding breakfast. Two good pool areas. Restaraunt a bit pricy, in all good value except for a terrible wifi.

  Wonderful hotel close to the beach and Aonang city center

  Wonderful hotel with all facilities you need. Nice big rooms, but the beds a litle bit to hard. Choose premium room if you can. The beds are softer. Book also room with pool view or sea view. The rooms to the backside of the hotel is not that nice. The pool area close to the beach are wonderful. The hotell is only 5 minutes from the city center and there are beach restaurantes near by the hotel which are wonderful. Like Fishermans bar. Our favorite place. Overall is this Centara hotel one of the best hotels we have been to in Thailand.

  Amazing location in a amazing region

  Family holiday with three teens. Hotel location perfect on beach you can swim in pool or sea. Night entertainment and setting very good. Always clean and the biggest value is the staff, all of them super friendly and helpful.

  Good hotel in a great location

  The hotel's location right on the beach is excellent. The hotel has beautiful swimming pools and the breakfast is of the standard you would expect from a hotel of this price range. The receptionist at the hotel was a bit gloomy and the reception did not answer our call when we called from our room. I expect a better reception from a hotel of this level. When you get to the beach and the second pool, there is a point where the ditch smells terrible.

  Great experience, thanks for the room upgrade!

  Overall we were very happy with our stay at the hotel, the only hotel at Ao Nang beach with a beachfront directly opposite, as the others have a road in front of them. There was a mild sewerage smell at times at the front of the hotel by the front pool or in front of our pool suite, we couldn't work out where it came from, but is wasn't there all the time. The hotel kindly upgraded our room, thank you! We found the cocktails to be really good and at happy hour they were a steal, 2 for 1! We ate a couple of times at the beach restaurant and found the food to be delicious and well priced, easily comparable to other restaurants in the area, even the Fisherman's pub. I use the gym stationary bicycle and it was in good condition, unlike other 4-5 star hotels who often have faulty/noisy gym bikes. The aircon wasn't noisy and we found the staff to be friendly and offered good service. I did find the price a bit steep for paying through Expedia almost a year in advance, where the cost of a double ocean-facing room was almost 10% more than the pool suite in building 7 that was the highest cost at the time we stayed there. It seems like the prices drop over time rather than increasing over time.

  Paradise

  Absolutely wonderful. First time here and it won't be our last. People so friendly and helpful. Clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent.

  Great stay for a couple of nights

  A nice couple of nights in a convenient location with a good breakfast. We had rooms 5303 (Premier Deluxe King) & 5304 (Premier Deluxe Double Double). Both rooms a great size and very clean. Shower drain blocks up a little too quick and causes more water to come out on floor but not flooded, and I've noticed this a lot over 20 years of staying in the south. Decently good breakfast, various Thai, Indian and vegetarian options, along with the usual western options, egg station, and bakery and fruit stations. Didn't use the pool or any facilities as this was a base to take boat and beach trips. In all honesty it was the best bang for our buck hotel stay in the Krabi region, and probably the best value in the decades I've been coming. While our stay at the Sofitel up the road a ways was luxury, the value, i.e., the price paid for what we had vs what we used, Centara was better value, but the stays were for different reasons.

  Great facilities and great staff

  The facilities were top notch, modern and clean. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a very wide variety of foods catering to all tastes. The beach front area was well maintained and had live fire shows on some evening and live music as well. We and our two kids on 3y and 5y had a great time?

  Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort

  Great hotel ina great location with excellent rooms and staff. two couple and we had ocean view rooms on level 4 - the view, room and facilities all exceeded expectation. Thanks to the previous reviewers for their feedback othgerwise we may not have booked here.

  Absolutely fantastic

  I would highly recommend this hotel on every level ! We spent 10 wonderful days here x the hotel is situated close to amenities but far enough away not to be spoilt . The whole experience was wonderful and the little treats each evening were a lovely surprise x
