  Good for honeymoon

  Perfect for couples who would only want to spend time in the resorts as it is not promised that the boat shuttle services are available as it depends on the weather. For the stay, there is alot of facilities available.

  Good place, good services and good team

  A great hotel in an unbeatable location. Being located on a semi-private beach is a plus. The scenery and views from the room are exceptional. All services, in general, have lived up to our expectations. If we want to highlight any, I would like to mention the pool service, especially with the help of Joe, who was very attentive at all times to make the experience very satisfactory. I would also like to highlight the kindness and good service of the room service and cleaning team. The rooms are well maintained, although it is evident that they are facilities that are old. We heard that the hotel has a comprehensive remodeling project.

  Our Trip to Krabi

  We loved our stay at the Centara Grand; it was the best travel experience ever! Service: The staff is so kind and helpful during our stay, such as airport transfer and pier pickup, lobby services, room service, Restaurants and Spa. Food: Our most enjoyed supper was at The Coast restaurant, located beside the swimming pool and right infront of the Beach. Serve excellent multiple cuisine, and there will also be a fire performance! The coconut juice is incredibly refreshing! You should also try the Thai restaurant is quite amazing with live accoustic performance! Breakfast spread was perfect for us! The best part is that Children is free! Hotel: If you are unwilling to hike, you may book a speed boat to get in and out of the hotel, which is OK. Our autistic 9-year-old son enjoys climbing and seeing monkeys along the Monkey Trail.:) Everything about the services and amenities is excellent; the only feedback I have is that there is no shelter walk area from the room to the lobby/other facilities in the event of rain. However, they will provide Buggy services if requested. They provide raincoats and umbrella as well. Room: We were amazed with the room. The bed is very large. We do not need to request an extra bed for our child. The sea view was stunning both in the morning and at sunset. We will definitely be back for sure!

  If the guest need security deposit in cash either he/she deposited the security deposit by card, if he/she need cash then the hotel should pay in cash.

  A wonderful place to relax!

  Such a lovely place - beautiful vistas, clean, well decorated rooms, lovely staff, lots to do. You actually really don't want to leave to go try things around Krabi!

  Very good hotel

  Globally the hotel was magnificent with a beautiful view on the sea. It was isolated from the surrounding cities and islands, so we were in the calm and quiet. The only way to go to the hotel is by boat to go to Nopparat or with the monkey trail in the forest that leads you to Ao Nang. We loved the trail ! We took the rooms with the view sea with spa. It was really nice, but they could improve the rooms with a little maintenance. The staff was nice, but the check in didn’t go so well, the staff didn’t speak english, on the contrary the check out went well, they could answer all our questions. The breakfast and restaurants were good, we had a lot of choices !

  Amazing Hotel in a Majestic Setting

  We planned a very special vacation to Krabi, Thailand and wanted to stay in the best resort. We reserved a beachfront two bedroom villa with a private pool at the Centara Grand and it was breathtaking to be right on the beach in such a gorgeous setting. Unfortunately, the room was a little run down and was not cleaned properly between guests, which was disappointing considering the cost. It is remote, so most meals were eaten at the resort. The food was good, but could have been a little better. The jacuzzi at the pool was not working when we were there. Everyone that works there is beyond friendly and the quality of the services provided at the spa were exceptional. We really enjoyed the Wednesday night fire show on the beach. We are members of the Centara Club, which gave us priority check-in, free laundry and allowed access to the private club facilities for high tea and snacks, which we fully took advantage of.

  Great Location and nice staff

  The location is amazing! And the staff is really friendly, helpful and always eager to find solutions. The remote area is really beautiful und the whole hotel complex nicely put/arranged. The rooms are clean and really big. ...but a bit "out of date. The interior could definitely need a make over (for a 5 star hotel - other then that still okay) and the TV is a bit far from nowadays standart (which shouldn't be too much of a problem - we're not on vacation to watch TV - but my girlfriend got sick for two days).

  Krabi Hide Away

  The Centara Grand Beach Resort was a very enjoyable, friendly and comfortable place to stay. We found it a bit isolated and as we are in our 70's making the trip to the town via the Monkey Trail was difficult. More regular boat shuttles from the resort to the beach and shopping areas around the closest headland would have been good.
