How do I start booking an event?

You can contact our Sales Department with your event details, Our team will then provide a proposal with suitable venue options and pricing.

What are the steps from inquiry to confirmation?

The process from inquiry to confirmation typically follows these steps:

Inquiry – Share your event details with our Sales team (date, number of guests, event type, and any specific requirements).

Proposal – We provide suitable venue options, packages, and pricing for your consideration with the cut off date.

Site Visit (optional) – You may visit the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre to review the space and discuss details in person.

Discussion & Customization – We refine the proposal based on your preferences, including setup, menu, and services.

Tentative Booking – The requested date and space can be temporarily held, subject to availability and hotel policy.

Confirmation – To secure the booking, a signed agreement and deposit are required.

Once confirmed, our team will continue to support you and pass details of your event to Event Service team, they will go through planning and execution to ensure a successful event.

How long does the booking process take?

A proposal can be provided within 1–3 business days (the sales office will be closed during weekend).
The confirmation process may take a few days to a couple of weeks, depending on how quickly details are finalized and the agreement is signed with the deposit.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a deposit is required to confirm the booking.

Once you have reviewed and agreed to the proposal, a signed agreement along with the deposit will be needed to secure the date and venue. The deposit amount and payment terms will be clearly outlined in the contract.

What is the payment schedule?

Deposit Payment – Required upon signing the agreement to confirm the booking and secure the date and venue, The remaining balance is usually due before or on the event date, as specified in the contract.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy for group or event booking is outlined in the contract and may vary depending on the event size and booking details.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date and venue.

For smaller events, booking 1–3 months in advance is usually sufficient, while larger events (such as those for several hundred to thousands of guests) are best arranged 6–12 months or more in advance, especially during peak periods.

What documents are required to confirm booking?

To confirm a booking, the following documents are typically required:

- Company registration details (for corporate bookings) or organization documents, if applicable to issue the event agreement
- A signed of event agreement
- Billing information for invoicing purposes
- Proof of deposit payment

Additional documents may be requested depending on the type and scale of the event
 

Can I hold a tentative booking?

Yes, the hotel allows you to reserve the preferred date and venue for a limited period while you finalize your decision. However, a tentative hold is not a confirmed booking and may be released if another client is ready to confirm the space.

Do you provide contracts?

Yes, we provide a formal contract or event agreement for every confirmed booking.

The contract or Event Agreement outlines all key details such as the event space, date, pricing, services, terms and conditions, payment schedule, and cancellation policy. It ensures clarity and mutual agreement between both parties before the booking is finalized.
