Celebrating 90 Years of Nikka Whisky
Nikka Whisky, the pioneer of Japanese whisky and still a leader in the industry, celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. In collaboration with Centara Grand Hotel Osaka, which is celebrating its first anniversary, we are hosting a special event. The event features Mr. Taro Kaneko, known as an evangelist for Nikka Whisky, who will host a talk show. It will also highlight a special menu using recipes from Rita, the wife of Masataka Taketsuru, known as the "Father of Japanese Whisky," who was featured in a popular serial TV drama. Enjoy a marriage of special whiskies and dishes prepared by our head chef for this occasion.

Joined Nikka Whisky in 1983. After handling commercial sales in Sendai and Tokyo, he worked primarily in marketing and sales departments, focusing on promotion and planning for Western liquors. He has been involved in distillery information dissemination and events.
