  Friendly staff, in a lovely location.

  Staff where polite and assisted with tour bookings, and directions to pharmacy when requested (as partner suffered explosive digestive problems in the last two days). The location was beautiful, with a functional gym, and relaxing spa services.

  Value for money

  The hotel was very nice with friendly staff and good amenities. The property itself is showing signs of its age but certainly not a deal breaker. We had an inclusive package that was great value for money, however there wasn't a huge amount of variety in menu so it became repetitive.

  Heaven on a beach

  We have just spent 5 nights at this resort and I can only say it wasn't long enough. Rooms, views, Spa, pools, restaurants and of course the wonderful staff made it the holiday of a lifetime. The situation of the hotel is also marvellous, on the beach and just far enough away from the town. The pool area is great and the swim up bar a great way to cool down and meet other guests.

  Great Property to relax

  Excellent property to spend your holidays. This is the second Centara property we have used and this too doesn’t disappoint! Located as reasonable distance and time from Patong Beach, the property is easily accessible. Staff is courteous, and very welcoming. Pool is big and overlooks the beach. Loads of beach chairs to accommodate most of the occupants. Bar services are good at all the bars Kids play area/ arcade is a big boon for parents to leave the kids in safe custody and enjoy the resort Spa services are second to none and the overall experience at the Spa was very soothing Room are big and comfy Overall great property and a must to consider in your selections

  Wonderful 8 days in Karon

  We loved our stay at Centara Grand Karon - fabulous location at the quiet northern end of Karon beach - a 15 minute walk down the beach to the centre of Karon. We stayed in a Deluxe Pool Room - with our own plunge pool on the balcony - which we enjoyed every day. Breakfast buffet was wonderful - lots of variety and very delicious. The swim up bar was also very enjoyable as was the main pool area. We appreciated the daily complimentary ice service and the cake for my husband's birthday. We would definitely choose a Centara property again in future.

  Excellent hotel

  Great hotel with direct access to the beach. Only hotel in Karon where you do not have to cross the road to access the beach. Staff were very attentive and very helpful with any question asked off them

  Great holiday experience

  Resort was the perfect setting for relaxing with easy access to the beach. Staff and food service excellent. Drinks free flowing. Room had a beautiful view of the resort and beach. Would definitely come back.

  Wonderful family stay

  We loved centara grand, and felt very lucky to have chosen it for our stay in karon, it is one of the only absolutely beach front properties in Karon and absolutely exceeded our expectations. We were thankful for the kids club, the amazing breakfast, happy hour, the beautiful pools! And all the staff that took the time to make our kids feel sooo incredibly special!!!! Thank you

  Fantastic Staff

  Staff and service at this resort is the best I have encountered on all my travels in over 30 years. Staff are so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Cannot speak highly enough. Hotel is clean, well presented with all facilities you would expect.

  We stayed in a Premium room with private pool & highly recommend this type of room, with the high humidity it was great to have our own pool to refresh & relax as much as we liked. The room & bathroom were clean a great. The staff were very friendly & accommodating in all areas, cannot rate the staff highly enough. Food & drinks were included in our package & we enjoyed it, in package the menu is smaller but we still enjoyed everything.

  Beautiful but tiered.

  The location of the hotel is beautiful. The all inclusive was good value for money the staff are very helpful but the language barrier was sometimes a problem. The room was large and comfortable but need a bit of a update. Pool areas are family friendly and a nice relaxing pool for adults only was great. Could do with a bar area with good air conditioning. Overall I would revisit the hotel and recommend it to anyone.

  The most memorable family beach holiday

  Centara Grand Beach Resort is ideally situated with beach access. It was safe and clean. The amenities are suited to all ages. My 2 boys loved the lazy river, water slides and cliff jump. The staff were pleasant to interact with.

  1 week, all inclusive stay

  Beautiful resort in idealistic location right on Keron Beach which is much nicer and quieter than Patong (about a AUD$17, 10 min cab ride away). Both kid and adult friendly. The weather in April was perfect. Highly recommended.

  Great venue for families

  We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at Centara. We had the all inclusive package however we would have loved a larger focus on Thai food. It is quite westernised which when you have an all inclusive package limits you to what you can eat. The pools were a big hit with our family. Staff were friendly enough although we found the wait staff to be not as friendly as others in the resort. Overall it was a great place and we would go back.
