Centara MDP (Management Development Programme)
The Management Development Programme (MDP) is designed for team members at Centara Hotels & Resorts. Each year, we select our potential employees to participate in the MDP from all across properties, both in Thailand and overseas, to develop their knowledge and skills so that they are ready to become young managers within Centara Hotels & Resorts and to support the rapid expansion of the company. Programme applicants must have at least one year of service at Centara Hotels & Resorts and they are required to take English tests, hotel knowledge tests, and the panel interview to be accepted into this programme. Upon the successful completion of the programme, all candidates will be promoted to their position.
Centara Hotels & Resorts has been running this programme for 15 years and has produced a number of successful candidates. The programme is implemented in close cooperation with Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU). The MDP covers a 12-month training period, including management courses taught by Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) for a period of 2 months, another month of Real-Time Management at selected Centara Hotels & Resorts properties, 5 months of studying and 4 months of training in Switzerland by Business and Hotel Management School – Switzerland.
