By Centara Hotels & Resorts

Dubai is a true beauty in the Middle East, known for its skyscrapers, shopping malls, beaches, theme parks, and many activities you can enjoy with your kids.

One of the best ways to make your trip even more fun is to stay at a resort with a waterpark in Dubai, like Centara Mirage Beach Resort. In this blog, we will look at various places in Dubai that you can visit with your family and why Centara Mirage Beach Resort in Dubai is a great fit for your family.

1. Wild Wadi Water Park

Wild Wadi Water Park is a popular place you can visit with your family if you are looking for a fun day out. Located in Jumeirah, this water park offers rides suitable for all ages. There are wave pools, exciting water slides, lazy rivers and dining options to keep everyone entertained and refreshed. Wild Wadi is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, and the best time to visit is on weekdays to avoid the crowds.

2. Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm

Aquaventure Waterpark is one of the largest water parks in Dubai, located at Atlantis, The Palm. This place is home to some of the world’s biggest water slides, like the Leap of Faith and the Aquaconda. However, the smaller slides, tipping buckets, and shallow pool are also perfect for younger children. Kids can also learn about marine life at the park’s aquariums and touch pools, where they can see and even interact with marine animals like stingrays and fish.

Aquaventure offers various dining options and shaded areas for relaxation. The park opens daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. However, it's best to arrive early, especially on weekends, to avoid crowds.

3. IMG Worlds of Adventure

IMG Worlds of Adventure is the largest indoor theme park in Dubai, making it a great place to have fun, no matter the weather outside. The park has different zones themed after popular characters like Marvel superheroes, Cartoon Network, and even dinosaurs. There are also rides based on favourite characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and The Hulk. Kids can visit the Cartoon Network Zone to meet characters like Ben 10 and The Powerpuff Girls and enjoy fun rides.

The IMG Worlds of Adventure is open Sunday through Thursday from 12 PM to 10 PM, and Friday and Saturday from 12 PM to 11 PM. With so many rides and attractions, it's helpful to plan and decide which zones you want to explore first. This will help you make the most of your time.

4. Dubai Dolphinarium

Dubai Dolphinarium, located at Creek Park, is a popular indoor attraction where you can enjoy an interactive and educational experience as a family. The dolphin and seal show is the main attraction which involves these smart animals performing tricks like jumping, dancing, and painting. In addition to the dolphin show, you can enjoy the bird show, where you’ll see exotic birds like parrots, macaws, and cockatoos doing amazing tricks.

Dubai Dolphinarium is open from 10 AM to 7:00 PM every day except Tuesday. Since the Dolphinarium is inside Creek Park, there is a small AED 5 entry fee and AED 35 to enter the park.

5. Global Village

Global Village is a multicultural theme park on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. It combines culture, entertainment, shopping, and dining. It’s like travelling the world in a day, with pavilions from different countries showcasing their unique cultures, foods, and crafts. The park has exciting rollercoasters for older kids and smaller rides for younger children.

In addition, your family can enjoy delicious dishes from various countries, including street food and gourmet meals. Entry to Global Village is affordable, with tickets priced at AED 25 per person. The park is open Sundays through Wednesdays from 4 PM to 12 AM and Thursdays through Saturdays from 4 PM to 1 AM.

6. Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall

The Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and The Dubai Mall, one of the largest shopping malls, are two of Dubai’s most famous attractions. They are located right next to each other in Downtown Dubai, making it easy to visit both in one day. There is a lot to see here. For instance, you can visit the observation decks on the 124th and 125th floors, called "At The Top", to see Dubai from above.
