イタリア出身のルカ・ルッソは、イタリア及びスペインのミシュラン星付きレストランにて経験を積む。ローマにある一つ星Assaje Restaurant、ローマの一つ星Ballerino Restaurant、ピエモントの一つ星Locanda del Pilone、Waldrof Astriaローマの三ツ星La Pergolaにて料理人としての研鑽を積む。Red Skyの前は、スペインのマジョルカの二つ星レストランZrarandaにて、スーシェフとして活躍。
